I'm tamago, 0172 8208 4208. My husband gave me the game for my birthday last month and I've been hooked! I dig most of the games but totally don't get Turncoat, Connect Five, Shogi, or Field Tactics. o_O (Odd because I used to love Stratego as a kid, and Field Tactics seems to basically be Stratego. But I just can't keep it straight in my head anymore.) And I suck at bowling, I am the Gutter Ball Queen. But anything else I'm totally up for playing, and I particularly enjoy: backgammon (I've loved that game since I was a little kid)
Koi-Koi (I'm not really good at it yet, but I'm learning)
chess (I used to be a tournament chess player in real life, but after ten years of not playing, I think I've forgotten everything I knew about chess! it's terrible, really)
billiards, dominoes, and takeover.

BTW, anyone know how to finish puzzle #17 on Escape? It's driving me insane.

First of all, welcome :D

Turncoat is like Othello, if you've played that. I'm trying to think of how to explain it without a diagram, but it's late...

I can wrap my head around the basic concept, I just can't seem to transform the basic concept into an actual possibility of winning. :P It's always, "WTH? How did I end up with only six red pieces and the CPU has like fortyzillion white pieces?!"

The good news is that it was extremely easy to me to win the Turncoat one in Mission Mode ("turn all pieces your opponent's color"). ;)
